Ahh, ComputerScience. My pride and joy. My former co-worker, shanksta, would describe ComputerScience as:

l337 hax0r type stuff:

Crypto (being mysterious)
Grazaphics (graphics)
OSes (I think it's french bones.. something to do with paleontology perhaps?)

Peter's machine suffers from l337 hax0ring because his passwords are easy to guess. Anyone know what they are? Ask Peter to send you a TestEmail

Er, actually, no it doesn't, Shanks, because my passwords are all much more profane than that :)

In any case, here are some actual topics in ComputerScience:

Data structures (how to store stuff so it's small/easily accessible/useful for something)
Algorithms (how to do stuff fast)
Operating systems (how to do lots of stuff at once)
Graphics (how to generate/process pretty pictures)
Networking (how to communicate with other stuff)
Architecture (how to build stuff that does stuff, and hopefully does it fast)

And much, much more. It seems like every day I discover new areas of ComputerScience, and I love it. I think I'm one of those rare people who knew exactly what they wanted to do, did it, and had it work out. Hooray for me! Except sometimes I worry that it'll make me boring. I mean, I think a lot of people learn some interesting things about the world and about themselves by figuring out what they want to do for a while.

Meh. Whatever.. lemme get back to coding my OS assignment :)
